It's finally happened.
Yes, my friends, I have become a baseball fan. Not just any baseball fan, either. Suddenly I'm obsessed, I'm even listening to talk radio, fachrissakes. What the hell?
The good news is that it has re-awakend my intrest in songwriting. For those of you who don't know, I'm quite the amatuer songwriter. Having penned such memorable tunes as "Whoopie Pie", "Crap On It", and "It's Pizza!", I'm now moving my attentions and my songwriting prowess on to the baseball diamond.
I already have a song for Mr. G. Kapler, the tough part will be rhyming something with Ramirez.

in a nutshell
The past three months:
April -
New roommate! Jonny moved in at the end of the month, which is great for many reasons. Yes, it makes the rent and bills a lot easier, but also he's a swell guy with a schedule that's opposite mine and he came with cool video games.
May -
Had the best birthday surprise ever. Darcey and I were at Johnny D's to see Corin and Paula, when out of the crowd comes ... my boyfriend, who, for those of you who don't know, lives 3000 miles away. Unbeknownst to me, he had been in cahoots with Darcey and Paula for weeks and had arranged the whole thing. He was only here for the weekend, but it certainly was fantastic.
June -
Aquired two bettas which I have named MacLellan and Tannuzzo in honor of my two friends who would also kill each other if given half the chance, ate way too much ice cream, and worked like a dog.
As far as upcoming fun, I'll be going back out to the left coast for a week soon. It's a triple threat, my friends. Not only will I be spending time with The Boy, but I'll also be catching two of Paula's shows (along with flying out with her, her husband, and Angie), and meeting up with my friends Julie and Chris who moved out to LA three months ago. It certainly promises to be a week of non-stop kung fu action.
