Kevin - quick update
just letting everyone know that this blog's usage period is about to expire in a month or so i think. Thanks to everyone who read this, whether they liked it or not. Ken server just isnt the same anymore, its not as fun as it used to be. Anyways to those who are still interested in how i'm doing on dep, i'm posting as Vektra on Zefandfriends . It's not the same as ken, where all i did was post boss screenshots. These posts are more gory because they contain a lot of fighting screenshots, its dep server afterall! Good luck to those who still play ken. |

Some WoW
I've been playing some WoW with my dep friends. I still like a lot of things on Lineage better though, such as the pvp system and pvm system. i also like the chatting system and the simplicity and etc. One thing i have to say about WoW though is their gm's are super helpful and it actually feels like you're talking to a human.
Anyways Here's my Human Paladin learning some new skills/spells.
Also i dont really like how when you die, you practically lose nothing. That just means if you kill another player, they lose nothing and there's not really much satisfaction from that. All you have to do is bring your spirit to your body and ressurect. But anyways here's my dead spirit.
Also i like being able to bookmark and tele to places in lineage, all the walking in WoW is pretty annoying. Instead of tele ladies, they have griffon rides, i guess those are pretty cool at first but after you ride a few of them it gets boring. Here's what a griffon ride looks like.
They also have this free tram thing that takes you between the 2 major cities, Stormwind and Ironforge. Here's me and my friends taking the tram ride.
A cool feature with WoW is how whenever you discover a new place/area or whatever, you get rewarded some exp. Here's my discovering Ironforge and getting exp hehe. Look at the chat window thing.
Also they have tons of quests to keep you occupied in WoW which is pretty fun, and you get rewarded exp for completing those quests too. Look at the chat area, it rewards quite a bit of exp!
Another cool thing is how you can just have your character auto-follow someone in the party so you can be lazy and not do anything.... here's me following my friend around cuz i'm too damn lazy
This is my friend with his awesome black stallion and phantom blade, looks pretty cool.
Thats it for screenshots i think. Oh ya another cool thing is if you look at the above pictures, some of them have the exp bar as purple color while others have it as a light blue color. When you log out or stand in an inn, your exp bar turns light blue and you get something called "rested" exp, which means for a certain amount of exp, all your exp you get from monsters are doubled. So if you have to take like a long vacation somewhere, you dont really have to worry about your exp cuz the double exp will last pretty long. |

There's something about friends backstabbing friends going on lately. Who i thought was my best friend before apparently is not. Fyreblade stole my account with BlueBerries on it yesterday and he sold it off to someone else. He messaged me later last night to apologize and stuff....here is the msn conversation we had:

And yes its true, when i sold blueberries a long time ago, it wasnt me who stole that account back, it was fyreblade.
Anyways i guess its not a HUGE loss since i dont play on ken anymore...but its just wrong how someone i was so close with could steal everything i worked on for 5 years and just sell it for his own selfish needs. |
